Acting Shakespeare

Our adult education program is thrilled to offer its first class specifically in Shakespearean acting technique. Experience for yourself the intoxicating thrill of performing soaring soliloquies, sweeping sonnets, and legendary scenes from the Bard’s timeless collection. The class will culminate in a showcase performance to be created by the ensemble.
Throughout the class, participants can expect the following:
Close study of Shakespearean text
Solo and group practice on scenes and monologues
Exploration of breath, voice, and movement as it relates to Shakespeare and beyond
Community-building and collaboration with classmates of all ages and backgrounds
TIMES: The course will take place on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. from Jun 11 - Aug 13, with 2 sessions off at the discretion of the instructor.
EXPERIENCE: This class is open to actors and Shakespeare fans of all ages and experience levels.
REFUND POLICY: Class tuition will be refunded in full up to 7 days prior to the class start date. Refunds will not be granted after the deadline.
