Following the sold-out success of Footloose at the Cain Center, this year’s TS3: Teen Summer Stock Series production will be the legendary, oft-debated musical told through Judas Iscariot’s eyes. The region’s most talented high school and college actors are ready to rock out to one of the world’s oldest stories!

Jack McRee

Jack McRee (Jesus)

Jack is incredibly excited to take on this role! He just graduated from William Amos Hough High School and will be attending Western Carolina University in the fall! He has been in many productions, such as The Addams Family (Fester), Be More Chill (Rich), Matilda Jr (Bruce), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Leaf Coneybear), and many more! He also just won a blumey award for Best Supporting Actor for his role of Fester!

Zhymeire Holliday

Zhymeire Holliday (Judas)

Zhymeire Holliday is very excited to be a part of his very first DCP Show. He is a rising Junior at Northwest School of the Arts and is so amazed and grateful by this talented and hardworking cast and crew.

Emily Garberina

Emily Garberina (Mary Magdalene)

Emily Garberina recently graduated from Pine Lake Preparatory. She is super excited to be back at TS3!

 
 
Cole Knight

Cole Knight (Pilate)

Cole Knight is a rising Junior at William Amos Hough High School this is his second TS3 and he couldn’t be more happy to be here! You might have seen Cole in last year’s production of Footloose (Bickle) Cole has loved working on this production with all of his wonderfully talented cast and crew mates and the wonderful creative team! Cole hopes you enjoy!

 
 
Hunter Tan

Hunter Tan (Caiaphas)

Hunter Tan is super excited to be a part of JCS! He will be attending UNC Chapel Hill in the fall and has recently been in Hadestown: Teen Edition as Hades and the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz.

 
 
Ashlyn Letarte

Ashlyn Letarte (Annas)

Ashlyn Letarte is a sophomore theatre and math double major at Northwestern University where she has performed in many shows such as Bonnie and Clyde and most recently Gynecia in Head over Heels. Ashlyn is thrilled to not only be in her first TS3 production, but also to play the villain for the very first time!

Brandon Jordan is ecstatic to be in his 3rd TS3 production before he goes off to Norwalk Conservatory for TV/Film Acting. He hopes you enjoy the show!

 
 
Miles Boatsman

Miles Boatsman (Simon)

Miles Boatsman has been doing theatre with DCP for 3 years now; you will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life; life is a series of collisions with the future; and in three words if he could sum up everything he’s learned about life, it goes on. Those are his favorite metaphors and he’s very excited for you to come see the show!

Jordan White (James the Lesser)

Jordan White is an upcoming freshman in college and is planning to attend Cornell University! He has been apart of several shows at Davidson Community Players including Mary Poppins, A Chorus Line, and Footloose, among other community and school shows! Jesus Christ Superstar is his absolute favorite show and he is beyond ecstatic to perform in it!

Ella Grace Wolfe is a rising senior at UNC Chapel Hill studying Dramatic Arts. Some of her favorite past shows include Little Women (Marmee), Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Gabrielle), and A Christmas Carol (Martha Cratchit).

Hayden Willis is a rising sophomore at NWSA with a major in Theatre and Visual Arts. Their world is a stage, even on the stage, they really “act” like it.

CJ Caceres is a rising senior at Community School of Davidson and plans to go to college for film. His favorite past roles include Janis in Mean Girls: The Musical and the Queen of Hearts in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Ky is back for her second DCP show, this time as a leper—because nothing says “theater kid” like enthusiastically limping in rags. She’s thrilled to be falling to pieces (literally and dramatically) with this amazing cast!

Carter Bolling is a high school Sophomore and is enjoying being part of his first TS3 production! He enjoys singing his heart out and is excited to share this electric show with the community!

 

Meet the Production Team

Chip Decker (Director) is a longtime theatre producer, director, actor, designer of sets, sound and projections, musician, husband and cat wrangler.

Lucas DeVore (Technical Director) is so excited to be back helping with another production at DCP. Lucas is the production Technical Director at CSD and also teaches the songwriting and music production courses. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Vicki Harvell (Music Director) music directs at community theatres all over the Charlotte metro area and has worked with DCP since 2009.  She is happy to be working with TS3's wonderful creative team and fabulous students again on Jesus Christ Superstar.

Hannah Shizuko (Choreographer) is celebrating her 9th year with Davidson Community Players. She is grateful to get to work another wonderful summer with these talented performers, and bring Chip Decker’s vision of Jesus Christ Superstar to life.

Katy Sigmon (Lighting Designer) is happy to be continuing work with Davidson Community Players after 10 years of designing shows here. Recent Professional Credits include: Costume Design for A Sick Day for Amos McGee with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, A Year with Frog and Toad and The Ugly Duckling (Jim Henson Award Winner) with the North Carolina Theatre for Young People as well as Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat, The Addams Family, Mary Poppins, and Tuesdays with Morrie at The Green Room. Wig & Makeup Design/Artist at Ghost Train Halloween Festival, The Carolina Pumpkin Spelltacular, and Carl White’s Life in the Carolinas. She is Co-Founder and Production Designer of Sigmon Theatrical, Co-Founder of GiggleBox Circus, and full time mama to Levi and Charlie. Katy is happy to be continuing work with Davidson Community Players after 10 years of designing shows here. Grace Ellmore (Costume Designer) graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Film Studies. She discovered her path ahead when she sat down at a sewing machine for the first time 3 years ago. Now, she debuts her work on stage, as this is her first ever professional costuming job!
