Based on the blockbuster motion picture turned Broadway show, Beetlejuice, Jr. tells the story of a strange and unusual teenager named Lydia Deetz, still grieving the loss of her mother, and obsessed with death. Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium.
Beetlejuice was nominated for eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical.

Brenan Young (Beetlejuice)
Brenan Young is a senior at Cox Mill High School. He has been performing in theater for 3 years. Some of his past performances include MAMMA MIA (Sky) at Cox Mill High School. SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (Perch Perkins) at Cox Mill High School. THE LITTLE MERMAID (Sebastian) at Cox Mill High School. He was also a Best Actor Blumey Award finalist for his role as Sebastian in THE LITTLE MERMAID. He is honored to be a part of BEETLEJUICE, JR. and he hopes you enjoy this frightfully funny musical. “It’s Showtime!”
Quinby Goode (Lydia Deetz)
Quinby Goode attends as a sophomore at Concord Academy. She has been doing theatre since she was 8 years old. Some of her favorite shows include… SIX! THE MUSICAL (Anne Boleyn), GUYS AND DOLLS (Miss Adelaide), and ANASTASIA JR. (Anastasia). BEETLEJUICE has been her favorite musical for years, and she can’t wait to share this strange and unusual show with you!
Paxton Coto (Charles Deetz)
Paxton Coto is a junior at Lincoln Charter School and has been performing for 5 years. A few of his most recent performances include SHE KILLS MONSTERS (Steve) at Cherryville and SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL (Patrick Star) at Lincoln Charter School. He is so excited to put on BEETLEJUICE, JR and hopes you have a great time, enjoy the show!
Griffin Harris (Adam Maitland)
Griffin Harris is a senior at Cox Mill High School and has been participating in theater for 11 years. Some of his previous performances include SOMETHING ROTTEN JR. (Nick Bottom) at SMACK, and PETER PAN (Tootles) at Children’s Theater Charlotte. He is grateful to God and the directive team of BEETLEJUICE, JR for this opportunity and can’t wait to perform.
Kaitlyn Aylward (Barbara Maitland)
Kaitlyn Aylward is a Junior at Cox Mill High School and has been performing for over 11 years since she was 5. She’s a talented singer and artist. She’s mostly performed in SMACK but also has branched out to Old Court House Theatre and others in the past. She’s really excited to be in BEETLEJUICE, JR and so thrilled to work with this amazing cast!
Rainey Mangan (Delia Schlimmer)
Rainey Mangan is a junior at Central Cabarrus High School and has been in performance arts since she was 5. She is also a talented voice actor and singer as well. Some past performances include the Blumey-Award winning PIPPIN (Ensemble) and CHICAGO (Ensemble), both with Central Cabarrus; as well as several performances with the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Summer Intensives Program. Bailey Fischer (Sky)
Bailey Fischer is an 8th grader at Corvian Middle School and is so excited to be a part of BEETLEJUICE, JR! Some of Bailey's favorite roles include Small Alison in FUN HOME with Davidson Community Players, Matilda in MATILDA with Corvian Middle School and Claude Herdman in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL at Children's Theatre of Charlotte. Bailey would like to thank the Beetlejuice cast and crew for such a fun experience!
Yulianna Hall (Miss Argentina)
Yulianna Hall is a junior at Hough High School and started her theater journey freshman year. She has been in 5 shows including JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (Soul Girl/Philip) at Davidson Community Players and SEUSSICAL (Baby Kangaroo) at Hough. She is so excited to be a part of this wonderful production and she hopes you enjoy!
CJ Jett (Otho)
CJ Jett has been in four high school shows at Hough with his most recent Hough production being THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW. BEETLEJUICE, JR will be his first ever community show and first show with DCP. Cj is so excited to perform on stage with his good friends and show the audience what they've been working on for the past few months.
Kohen Hamlin (Maxie Dean)
Kohen Hamlin is a sophomore at Northwest School of the Arts and is thrilled to be in his third Connie Company show at DCP, his last two being FROZEN, JR (Wesselton) and MATILDA, JR (Agatha Trunchbull). Enjoy the show!!!
Ella Paquette (Maxine Dean)
Ella Paquette is a junior at Pine Lake Preparatory High School and has been performing in theatre for 8 years. Some of her past performances include HEATHERS: TEEN EDITION (Martha) at Pine Lake Prep and THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Wednesday) at Untitled: Theatre Musical Intensive. CJ Caceres (is a senior at Community School of Davidson and has been doing theater for 6 years. Some of his past performances include MEAN GIRLS: THE MUSICAL (Janis) at Community School of Davidson and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (Ensemble) at Davidson Community Players. He’s excited to check you into the Netherworld and hopes you enjoy the show!
Mace Mazzoni (Ensemble)
Mace Mazzoni is a freshman at Cox Mill High School, and has loved being involved in community theatre for the past 8 years. Past productions include THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. (Sebastian) and NEWSIES JR. (Crutchie). Mace is super excited he gets to share his DCP debut with this cast, and hopes you enjoy the performance!
Morgan Roof (Ensemble)
Morgan Roof is a sophomore at Northwest School of The Arts and has been doing theatre since age 3. Her most recent performances include FINDING NEMO, JR(Bruce) and MATILDA, JR(Mrs.Wormwood) at Davidson Community Players. Kate Mayfield (Ensemble)
Kate Mayfield is a sophomore at Community School of Davidson and has been passionate about theatre since elementary school. Some of her recent shows are MEAN GIRLS: THE MUSICAL (Math announcer/Rachel Hamilton) Community School of Davidson, and FINDING NEMO, JR (Anchor) with Davidson Community Players. Kate is thrilled to haunt the stage alongside the scary-talented cast of BEETLEJUICE, JR!

Eliza Fitzgerald is a rising freshman at Northwest School of the Arts and has been a theater performer for 4 years. Some of her past shows include FINDING NEMO, JR (Peach) and DRAGONS LOVE TACOS (Mom). She is so excited for the opportunity to be in BEETLEJUICE, JR and knows you’ll love the show!
Devin Slade (Ensemble)
Devin Slade is thrilled to be performing with DCP again! This is his third outing with the company, and his first time performing at the Cain Center. You may have previously seen him in DCP shows ELF JR (Buddy), and PETER AND THE STARCATCHER (Peter). He's had a blast throughout this process, and is so excited for you all to get to share in the experience!
Caelyn Ball (Ensemble)

Aiden Honeycutt (Ensemble)
Aiden Honeycutt is a seventh grader at Woodlawn School and has been performing in theatre for 7 years. Some of his past performances include FUN HOME (John) and CHARLOTTE’S WEB (Wilbur) both at Davidson Community Players, as well as INTO THE WOODS JR (The Baker) with Woodlawn School’s Red Barn Players. He’s excited to be part of BEETLEJUICE, JR and hopes you enjoy the show!
Rex Drago (Ensemble)
Rosy “Rex” Drago is an 8th grader at Lake Norman Charter School and is excited to be performing in her first Connie Company production. She has been performing in theatre with Davidson Community Players for the last years 3 years, taking community classes that performed excerpts from FREAKY FRIDAY (Elle), YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN (Snoopy), SHREK (Pinocchio), to name a few. She is excited to open the show as the Priest and to be part of BEETLEJUICE, JR!
Paige King (Ensemble)
Paige King is a 6th grader at Community School of Davidson who has been performing since the first grade. Some of her past performances with DCP include FINDING NEMO, JR. (Gurgle), DRAGONS LOVE TACOS (“Woman in suit”), and ELF, JR. (Ensemble). In her free time, you can find her making music, dancing, collecting playbills, or hanging on aerial silks. She is thrilled to be part of this production and share the stage with such a talented cast!
Addyson Merz (Ensemble)
Addyson Merz is in 7th grade and has been doing musical theatre shows for 7 years. Some of her favorite past performances include FROZEN, JR (Anna), ANNIE, JR (Annie), & ONCE UPON A ONE MORE TIME (Gretel, Ensemble) at Davidson Day School, CINDERELLA, JR (Cinderella) at Masterworks, and FROZEN, JR (Ensemble) at Davidson Community Players. Hadley Lee (Ensemble)
Hadley Lee is an 8th grader at Brawley Middle School who has discovered a true passion for theatre. Some of her favorite past roles include Lavender in MATILDA JR. with Davidson Community Players, Middle Elsa in FROZEN JR. with Davidson Community Players, and Junie B. Jones in JUNIE B. JONES JR. THE MUSICAL with Mooresville Community Children’s Theatre. Hadley is thrilled to be part of the talented cast of BEETLEJUICE JR. and is grateful for this exciting opportunity.
Riya Korrapati (Ensemble)
Riya Korrapati is a freshman at Pine Lake Preparatory and has been performing in theater for the past 7 years. Some of her past performances include LITTLE WOMEN (Young Jo March) at Mooresville Children's Theater, ALADDIN (Jasmine) at Pine Lake Preparatory and ALICE IN WONDERLAND (Queen of Hearts) at Ludmilla European Performing Arts. Riya is thrilled to be a part of this cast and hopes you love BEETLEJUICE, JR.
Lacey Barnes (Ensemble)
Lacey Barnes is a 7th grader at Bailey Middle School. Her previous shows include NEWSIES, JR, FROZEN JR, MATILDA JR, and FINDING NEMO JR with DCP; THE LITTLE MERMAID with MCCT, and THE SONGEBOB MUSICAL: YOUTH EDITION at Bailey Middle School. Lacey is thrilled to be part of BEETLEJUICE JR and is incredibly grateful to have discovered her passion for the stage while working alongside so many talented directors and performers.
Piper Young (Ensemble)
Piper Young (Ensemble) is a junior at Hough High School and has been participating in theatre for 3 years. Some of her past performances include THE CRUCIBLE at Hough High School and working on crew for shows like JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at Davidson Community Players. Kennedy Bishop (Ensemble)
Kennedy Bishop is a 9th grader at Pine Lake Preparatory. She has been performing on stage since the age of 5 in various professional, community and school theatres. Some of her favorite credits include: FINDING NEMO (Dory), ANNIE (Annie), DEAR EDWINA (Edwina), MARY POPPINS (Jane Banks), JAMES & THE GIANT PEACH (Ladybug) and SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE (Louise). This winter she will be performing in SIX: TEEN EDITION (Anne Boleyn) at PLP. Mary Skogen is a freshman at South Iredell high school. Mary has been in theater since she was five and this will be her second show at Davidson Community Players. Hayden Willis is a sophomore at Northwest school of the arts and has been doing theatre for quite some time now. They’ve been in past productions such as MATILDA JR. (Eric), FINDING NEMO JR. (Marlin), and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (Ensemble), and other small shows produced by DCP. Katie Mullis (Director) is celebrating her 12th year as Education Director with Davidson Community Players! She majored in Dance and Theater at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has directed, choreographed and performed with local and professional theater companies across the country. Offstage, Katie has been featured in music videos, TV, and film and cheered as a TopCat for the Carolina Panthers! Outside of theatre, she enjoys traveling with her husband and two children. Katie hopes this show allows everyone to embrace the strange and unusual within themselves!
Jenna Tyrell (Choreographer) is a passionate theatre professional and performer with a BFA in Music Theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University. She is deeply embedded in the Lake Norman theatre community, where she has made her mark through both her performance and choreography. Jenna is thrilled to choreograph BEETLEJUICE, JR and work with the talented local cast of teens, as well as Katie and Vicki!
Carmella Stack (Stage Manager & Assistant Director) is a senior at Hopewell High School and has been working with DCP for the past 4 years. Her past credits include FINDING NEMO JR (Stage Manager) At DCP, 9 TO 5 (Assistant Stage Manager) at DCP, as well as MAMMA MIA (Lighting Designer and Technical Director) at Hopewell High School. She is SUPER pumped for BEETLEJUICE JR as it will be her 15th show with DCP!
Robbie Lake (Assistant Stage Manager) is a senior at the Community School of Davidson and has been running tech for six years. His past credits include SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET (Assistant Stage Manager) for Community School of Davidson's 2024 Summerstock, MISS BENNET: CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLEY (Assistant Stage Manager) at Davidson Community Players, and HADESTOWN: TEEN EDITION (Assistant Director, Lighting Designer) at Community School of Davidson. He is thrilled for BEETLEJUICE JR. to be his fourth show with DCP's Connie Company and can't wait for you to see this amazing production!
