Michelle Medina Villalon

Michelle Medina Villalon (she/her) is a director, intimacy professional, and playwright based in Charlotte. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Catawba College and completed her intimacy training with Theatrical Intimacy Education. Michelle has had the privilege of working with local companies like Three Bone Theatre, Lee Street Theatre in Salisbury, and of course, Davidson Community Players! Her play, Mythos, was presented at the Southeastern Theatre Conference in Lexington, KY in 2023. Mythos was also accepted into OdysseyStage’s play development pipeline program in 2025. Michelle is an active writer, currently serving as the Theatre editor for Cultural Voice North Carolina, an online arts publication. When she’s not working on or near the stage, Michelle is an avid podcast listener, horror movie fanatic, and mediocre runner.
