This Sunday evening edition of “Adult Acting” will start your day with embodied arts practice for all skill levels. Depending on the size, experiences, and interests of the students, the instructor may tailor the class as the term moves along and include elements of scene study. Emphasis will be placed on core acting principles of:
Ensemble-building
Telling the truth
Active listening,
Physical/vocal confidence.
Returning and new students welcome!
TIMES: The course will take place on Sundays from 6:00 to 8:00pm from Sep 13 - Nov 1.
EXPERIENCE: Open to all skill levels.
REFUND POLICY: Class tuition will be refunded in full up to 7 days prior to the class start date. Refunds will not be granted after the deadline.
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Bill Reilly is a local actor who has appeared in over 50 productions in the greater Charlotte area since appearing in DCP’s production of Leading Ladies in the summer of 2014. He received a theatre degree from the University of Rhode Island and did some work towards an MFA at the University of Virginia. Last year he was awarded an MTA for his performance in The Crucible with the Post-Mortem players. He is also a certified meditation and breathwork coach.
