Twelfth Night is regarded as one of Shakespeare’s greatest comedies filled with illusion, deception, and disguises. This is a hilarious story of identical twins and mistaken identity. The play promises to challenge students and thrill and enchant audiences. This version of the play will feature a healthy dose of instruction in the art of reading and performing Shakespeare followed by weekly rehearsals. The project will culminate with public performances at Davidson Community Players’ Armour Street Theatre. Shakespeare Unplugged is a fee base workshop. $205 for the session. Finanacial aid is available.

The workshop kicks off August 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 from 5:30pm-8:30pm with daily work sessions during which the cast will be introduced to the play and will develop important skills geared toward interpreting the text. Beginning August 11, the cast will work 3 days a week in preparation for the late September production. The project will culminate with five public performances at Davidson Community Players’ Armour Street Theatre.
